AF Remineralizer is a liquid solution of minerals to create a balanced GH to KH ratio in RO, deionized, or distilled water. Directions For Use

Use 1mL per 3 liters of RO, deionized, or distilled water to raise KH by 2 and GH by 4

Many Singapore hobbyists run RO, deionised or distilled water to escape our chloraminated, mineral-light tap supply, but pure water has almost no buffering and needs minerals added back before it’s safe for fish. AF Remineralizer does exactly that, dosing easily absorbed calcium and magnesium to set general hardness and carbonate hardness in a 2:1 ratio. That balance protects fish from osmotic shock and stress while giving planted tanks the GH and KH they need to thrive.

We find the liquid form convenient for top-ups and water-change mixing, since you can dose to a target rather than fiddling with powders. Mix it into your RO water, stir, and check GH and KH with a test kit before adding it to the tank, especially if you keep species sensitive to sudden parameter swings. Consistency between changes matters more than hitting an exact number once.
