We stock it as an affordable workhorse for keepers topping up and changing water on a regular schedule. Singapore’s tap is reliably clean but treated for distribution, so conditioning it before it meets your livestock is a non-negotiable step, not an optional one.

Dose against your actual change volume and add it as you refill, ideally to temperature-matched water so you are not shocking warm-water fish in our 27-29C tanks. A quick conditioner step also smooths the larger changes many local keepers run to keep nitrate down between top-ups. Always read the label dosing, since concentration varies between brands and over-pouring helps nobody.
