EIHO Anti Fungus & Finrot (fast treatment)

Description

EIHO ANTI FUNGUS & FINROT treats bacterial infection. These infections are commonly caused by Aermonas, Psuedomonas, Columnaris and Fexibacter. These bacteria may spread to other fishes in the community tank and may cause huge losses if left untreated. It is effective for tropical fish, goldfish, discus, koi and cichlid.

Bacteria and fungus outbreak can be triggered by poor water conditions, so it is important to resolve poor water quality issues to prevent recurring bacteria infection. Improve water conditions by changing water regularly

• Fin rot (eating away of fins). Fins may appear opaque and with blood streaks. Important to treat early as it can infect other fish and may cause death
• Mouth rot (erosion of mouth)
• Cotton wool disease (secondary fungal infection on body or gills when the fish health is poor)
• Early signs include clamped fins, rubbing against objects, stays away from other fishes and heavy breathing
• Fish body can also appear abnormally darker or lighter in colour

Directions

1 cap (5ml) for 50L. Remove activated carbon during treatment. Add medication on the first, third and sixth days for full course of treatment.

Using EIHO Anti Fungus & Finrot in Singapore tanks

Fin rot and fungal patches are among the problems we see most often in local community and goldfish tanks, usually flaring up after a fish has been stressed by transport, netting, fighting, or a dip in water quality. This treatment targets the common bacteria behind ragged, receding fins and body slime, and is suitable across tropical fish, goldfish, discus, koi and cichlids. Catching it early, before the rot reaches the fin base, gives the best chance of full regrowth.

For the best result we always pair medication with husbandry: remove activated carbon from the filter so it doesn’t strip the dose, keep aeration up since warm 27-29C water holds less oxygen, and improve water quality with changes that address the root cause. Treating a sick fish in a separate hospital or quarantine tank protects your other livestock and lets you medicate without disturbing a planted display. Always dose by the bottle’s instructions for your exact volume.
