Liquid carbon has earned a loyal following among Singapore aquascapers, and for good reason. Many of us run small planted tanks in HDB flats and condos where a full pressurised CO2 rig, with its cylinder, regulator and the safety considerations of a sealed flat, simply is not practical. Plant Carbo offers an easier carbon route that suits nano and low-tech setups, helping carpeting plants and stems stay compact and green without the hardware footprint.

A useful side benefit local keepers appreciate is its effect against algae, since warm, bright Singapore tanks near windows can battle persistent spot and thread algae. Dose consistently each day rather than in large irregular slugs, dose less in tanks holding sensitive mosses or Vallisneria, and remember it complements good light and ferts rather than replacing them.
