EIHO Plant Potassium

Description

EIHO Plant Potassium is formulated to repenish potassium in planted tanks. In aquatic plant environment, potassium is quickly taken up. The lack of potassium can limit the growth of plants and photosynthesis.

Common signs of potassium deficiency include stunt growth, low photosynthetic rate. Leaves can turn yellow or white too.

EIHO Plant Potassium safely increases potassium in the aquaria. Plant will appear more vibrant with constant addition of EIHO Plant Potassium.
Do not contain nitrate or phosphate

Overdosing will not cause algae growth

Use as daily fertilizer

1ml for 40L of water

1 cap (5ml) for 200L of water

Adjust dosage depending on plant intensity

EIHO Plant Potassium for Fast-Growing Tanks

Potassium is the macronutrient planted tanks burn through fastest, and in Singapore’s warm, brightly lit setups growth rates are high enough that it runs short before most keepers expect. The classic signs are pinholes spreading across older leaves and a general loss of vigour, even when light and CO2 look adequate. Plant Potassium tops up that reserve so photosynthesis and new growth are not held back by a single limiting nutrient.

Tap water here contributes very little potassium, so in practice almost every dedicated planted tank in town benefits from supplementing it. It is also one of the more forgiving nutrients to dose, since plants tolerate a generous range, which makes it a good place for newer aquascapers to start understanding fertilising. Still, dose to your tank’s uptake, watch the older leaves as your gauge, and adjust over a couple of weeks rather than overnight.
