NT Labs Bacterad for Bacterial Infections in Pond Fish
Bacterad targets the bacterial problems koi and pond fish are prone to: ulcers, split or rotting fins, mouth rot, red blotches, missing scales and clamped fins. It can also treat flukes in the presence of sensitive species such as sturgeon, orfe and rudd, and is safe to use where Pond Salt Plus is present at general tonic level. That flexibility makes it a useful broad treatment for a mixed pond.
In Singapore’s consistently warm ponds, bacteria stay active year-round, so a minor injury or a knock against the pond wall can quickly become an open ulcer. Catching the early signs and treating promptly makes a real difference to recovery. Always test and correct water quality first, since poor conditions are usually what let an infection take hold, then dose evenly around the pond.
