Using NT Labs Anti-White Spot & Fungus in Singapore tanks

White spot and fungus tend to flare in our climate whenever tank temperatures swing, which happens easily during monsoon spells or when an aircon-cooled room suddenly warms up. We stock this NT Labs treatment for hobbyists who catch the tell-tale grains of salt or cotton-wool tufts early. It targets the free-swimming stage of the parasite as well as fungal threads, so timing your doses against the life cycle matters far more than dumping in extra.

Because most local tanks sit at a warm 27-29C without a heater, the parasite cycle runs fast here, which actually works in your favour for dosing intervals. Always remove activated carbon and any chemical media before treating, keep aeration high since medications lower oxygen, and pause UV sterilisers during the course. We advise treating the whole display only if the outbreak is widespread; otherwise a separate tank is gentler on your biofilter and shrimp.
