Seachem Gold Buffer 300g
Goldfish require a slighly alkaline environment of pH 7.2 – 7.8 to thrive. The challenge of producing an alkaline environment is algae grow. Hence, Seachem Gold Buffer uses a non-phosphate formula which raises water pH without promoting algae growth.
Gold Buffer helps to maintain water at an ideal alkaline pH for goldfish survival, and will not promote algae growth.
Depending on dosage, Gold Buffer raises pH and buffers between 7.2 and 7.8. It is safe for freshwater environment.

Ingredients
Sodium, potassium, magnesium, and other bicarbonate salts.

To restore the proper level of trace elements, use Gold Trace.

Directions
Use 1 level teaspoon for every 40 L (10 US gallons) daily until desired pH is reached. If water is soft or not well buffered, use half dose. Gold Buffer will slowly raise pH. It will not lower pH. It may be added directly to the aquarium at any time. It preferentially buffers at pH 7.8, but can manage any pH between 7.2 and 7.8.
