Cloudy, hazy or green water is a common complaint here, and this clarifier works by binding the fine suspended particles and free-floating algae into larger clumps your filter can then trap. We see it most often after a substrate disturbance, a heavy feeding, or a green-water bloom set off by sunlight hitting a tank near an HDB window. Used as directed, it can settle a milky tank noticeably within hours rather than waiting days for it to clear on its own.
It is rated for freshwater, marine and even soft-water tanks, so it suits a wide spread of local setups, but we always treat it as a quick fix rather than a cure. Run your filter actively while dosing, and clean or rinse the media once the clumped material is captured, since warm SG water means trapped gunk breaks back down fast. Address the underlying cause too, otherwise the cloud returns.
