Excellent pellet feed for ornamental herbivorous fish, especially Tangs. It allows for proper development and resistance to disease. AF Algae Feed is made up of 7 algae varieties. In addition, it has been fortified with phytoplankton, minerals and vitamins to form a complete balanced diet for all types of fish. We recommend feeding in small portions several times a day. Product intended for aquarium use only. Not suitable for human consumption. Keep away from children.

Dosage:
Feed in small portions several times a day. For optimal fish nutrition, it is recommended to combine AF Algae Feed with other Aquaforest foods.

We recommend it to reef keepers running tangs, the popular grazers in so many local mixed reefs, because these fish need constant access to vegetable matter to stay healthy and avoid nipping at corals out of hunger. The soft granule texture suits smaller mouths and reduces the leftover mess that fuels nuisance algae.

Tangs graze all day in the wild, so the key with this feed is little and often rather than one large meal. Several small portions spread across the day keeps them busy and well-nourished, and because the pellets are designed not to foul the water, you can feed generously without spiking nutrients. It works well as a staple alongside the occasional sheet of dried marine algae for variety.
