ANS Spider Wood Sculpture in S, M and L Sizes
Spider wood is prized for its fine, twisting branches that fan out into intricate, tree-like silhouettes, and we offer it in three size brackets so you can match the piece to your tank. The small (15-25cm) pieces are ideal for nano aquascapes and terrariums, while the medium and large (up to 45cm) sculptures anchor bigger Iwagumi-and-wood or jungle layouts with real presence and movement.
Fresh spider wood usually floats at first and leaches tannins, lightly tinting the water amber for the first couple of weeks. In SG you can pre-soak or weigh it down, and our soft, slightly acidic tap water actually pairs well with the gentle blackwater look. Boiling or soaking also helps the wood sink faster and reduces the biofilm bloom that commonly appears on new driftwood.
