ANS Turly Rocks (5-40cm, Per Kg) for Aquascaping
Turly rocks are a favourite among Singapore scapers for their greyish-brown base colour and deeply jagged faces, which lend a tank an aged, natural look the moment they go in. Sold per kilo in sizes from 5 to 40cm, they let you buy exactly what your layout needs, whether that is one bold focal stone or a handful of smaller pieces to build a ridge. The rugged surface gives plenty of mechanical locking points, so stacked stones grip each other and hold their shape.
They are heavy and sit firmly on most substrates, making them excellent for weighing down plants, anchoring driftwood and forming a stable base you can build height on. Be aware these stones slightly raise water hardness as minerals leach over time, which suits cichlid keepers but is worth monitoring on soft-water shrimp or sensitive plant tanks. We suggest a good rinse and a vinegar fizz test before scaping if hardness matters to your stock.
