In our ambient 27-29C tap-water tanks, live coral simply isn’t an option for most flats, so a resin coral form lets HDB and condo keepers add structure and colour to a freshwater community without a chiller, protein skimmer or the salt routine that a true reef demands here.

Placement matters more than people expect. We set the coral on firm substrate or a flat stone so it can’t topple onto glass, and we angle the branches to break sightlines, giving timid fish a route to dart through. Rinse it under dechlorinated water before it goes in; our chloraminated supply means a quick treated rinse is safer than running it under the tap.
