Styling the RQ Castle Deco in a Singapore Tank

We see this resin castle work best as a single bold focal point rather than one of many clashing ornaments. In a 2ft community tank it gives shy fish a sheltered overhang while still reading as a clear centrepiece. The cured resin holds up fine in our warm 27-29C tap water and does not leach or soften over months of immersion, which matters in HDB tanks that rarely run a heater and sit at room temperature year-round.

Position it slightly off-centre and angle the largest face toward the viewing pane so the moulded detail catches your light. Pair it with a dark substrate and a few low plants at the base to soften the join between deco and gravel. Rinse it under tap water before adding, and give it a gentle scrub during water changes since the textured surface can trap detritus and grow a film in nutrient-rich water.
