Adding the RX2221 Resin Deco to Your Aquarium

At 18×8.5×10.5cm this RX-series resin ornament is a compact piece that slots neatly into a 1.5ft or 2ft tank without dominating it. Its hollow form doubles as a hiding cave, which is genuinely useful for nervous community fish or a single betta that wants a retreat. The non-toxic cured resin stays inert in our warm 27-29C local water, so it works equally well in unheated room-temperature HDB tanks.

For a natural finish, half-bury the base in substrate and let a low plant or two grow over the edges to break up the moulded outline. Keep it off to one side rather than dead centre so fish still have an open swimming lane. Rinse before adding to clear casting residue, and work the textured surface into your weekly maintenance, since recesses in any deco trap detritus and can build a film in nutrient-rich water.
