The SUDO E-26 Tako Pot Mini for Nano Tanks

The SUDO E-26 Tako Pot Mini is a tiny handmade ceramic shelter, just 65 x 55 x 60mm, designed as a breeding and hiding pot for the smallest tank inhabitants. The compact pot shape gives shrimp, dwarf fish, and fry a snug, shaded retreat, and it is a favourite spawning spot for cave-laying species. Made from inert unglazed clay, it is safe for fish, shrimp, turtles, and reptiles, and it will not shift pH or leach anything into the water.

Its small size makes it perfect for the nano and shrimp tanks that suit Singapore’s compact homes. Cherry shrimp and similar species graze the biofilm that develops on the rough clay surface, while a berried female or shy fish appreciates the enclosed pot as a secure refuge. The smooth finish protects delicate fins and antennae, and the natural earthy tone blends into a planted scape rather than standing out like plastic ornaments.
