The SUDO E-8SP Tako Pot for Smaller SG Setups

This medium E-8SP is the size we most often recommend for nano and shrimp-friendly tanks around Singapore. At roughly 145mm it tucks neatly into a 1-2 foot tank without dominating the layout, giving dwarf cichlids, smaller plecos and skittish tetras a dim retreat. The handmade ceramic is fully inert, so it will not shift the pH of our naturally soft, slightly acidic tap water during a sensitive breeding attempt.

In a typical HDB living-room tank running heaterless at 27-29C, fish settle in quickly and a confident pair will often claim the pot within days. The narrow single mouth lets a guarding parent control who enters, while the glazed interior stays smooth against delicate fins and freshly laid eggs. We also see it used purely as a confidence cave so shy newcomers feel secure enough to feed in the open.
