SUDO S-1821/1822 Tunnel Driftwood Stump (S/M) for Aquascapes

This SUDO tunnel stump imitates a hollowed driftwood root with a convincingly rich texture, and it earns a place in Singapore tanks where real driftwood can be unpredictable. Genuine wood often leaches tannins and stains our soft tap water brown for weeks, whereas this moulded piece gives you the same gnarled look instantly with no soaking, no tannin tea and no fungal bloom. It comes in two sizes, the compact S-1821 and the slightly larger S-1822, to suit different layouts.

The tunnel form is doing two jobs at once: it reads as a natural accent in an aquascape, and it gives small fish, shrimp or fry a through-shelter to dart into. In our warm 27-29C tanks that sense of cover encourages timid species to colour up and feed in the open. The textured surface also collects grazing biofilm that shrimp pick at, and being inert it stays neutral in a sensitive tank.
