SUDO S-1825 Tunnel Ryuboku Log (M) for Small Fish
The S-1825 is a medium resin log tunnel with a finely detailed bark texture, and it is an easy win for Singapore aquascapers who want the driftwood look without the wait. At about 155 by 90mm it slots neatly into a 1-2 foot layout as a horizontal accent, and because it is resin it skips the weeks of tannin leaching and water-staining that real ryuboku wood causes in our soft tap water. There is no pre-soaking and no risk of it floating on you.
The open tunnel form gives small fish, fry and shrimp a sheltered passage to swim through, which in our warm 27-29C community tanks helps nervous species like ember tetras or chili rasboras feel secure enough to display. The rich surface texture also gathers the biofilm that shrimp graze on through the day. Being inert and light at around 80g, it stays put yet repositions easily when you tweak a scape.
Dress it with a little moss or pair it with stone for realism. Browse more decorations, and our driftwood aquascaping guide and driftwood-and-moss aquascape guide explain how a log like this fits a natural small-tank layout.
