At roughly 95 x 60 x 55mm, this resin trunk ornament is a tidy fit for nano tanks, betta bowls and the desktop setups common in Singapore homes. It gives shy fish a natural-looking hiding spot without the prep that real driftwood needs, so there is no tannin staining of the water and no weeks of soaking before it sinks. For keepers who like the wood look but want our soft, slightly acidic tap water to stay clear, a moulded trunk is an easy shortcut.

We still rinse new resin pieces before placing them, and we wedge the trunk firmly into the substrate or against hardscape so a curious betta or a foraging shrimp colony cannot topple it. It pairs well with low-light plants like anubias or java fern tied on top, which softens the look and gives the piece a more established, planted feel over time.
