The JM55 sand-fall decoration for 60x45x45cm tanks

The JM55 is the larger sand-fall decoration in our range, built for tanks of 60 x 45 x 45cm or bigger, and it adds extra scenic depth with a separate side mountain piece plus a floating mountain that hangs on the tank rim. We find this set appeals to keepers wanting a more dramatic, layered scene in a feature tank for the living room. The cascading white sand reads as a flowing waterfall, while the mountain elements frame it for a fuller landscape illusion.

To run smoothly, keep the supplied fine sand only and ensure the pump sits where its intake stays clear of substrate and debris. In our warm, humid climate we suggest a fortnightly check of the airlift tubing, since biofilm builds quickly and can choke the sand flow if left. Position the larger structure slightly back so the floating mountain reads with proper perspective, and if you would like it integrated with gravel and live plants, our setup service can complete the whole tank for you.
