Cast in inert aquarium-safe resin, it stands up to our warm 27-29C water and humid conditions without degrading. Given the size, place it on the bare glass and bank substrate around the base so it sits stable and detritus does not collect underneath. The textured surface will pick up an algae film over time; a soft-brush clean in old tank water during maintenance keeps the rockwork and foliage crisp without any chemicals.
