At a compact 14.5 x 8 x 6.5cm, this cave is sized for the smaller setups that suit Singapore HDB and condo living, where a nano tank or a young terrapin enclosure has to earn its footprint. We like it as an instant hiding spot; shy fish, shrimp and small turtles all use enclosed structure to feel secure, which in practice means less hovering at the glass and more natural behaviour out in the open.

It is moulded for aquarium use and inert, so it will not shift your water parameters in a planted or community tank. We recommend a quick rinse and a check for trapped air before placing it, and positioning the opening toward an open swimming lane so occupants can slip in and out easily. In our humid climate, rinse it during routine maintenance to keep biofilm from building on the surface.
