At 14.5cm and 170g, this is a compact basking platform suited to hatchlings, smaller turtle species, or a single juvenile in a starter enclosure. Aquatic turtles need to climb out and dry off regularly, and the gentle resin slope makes that easy even for young animals still building strength. The modest size keeps it from dominating a smaller tank while still delivering a proper dry haul-out zone.

Set it beneath the basking lamp and check that the highest point sits clear of the water so the shell dries fully between swims.
