ZZ F25223S Turtle Platform (Green) for SG terrapin tanks

This 27cm basking platform is sized for the red-eared sliders and other terrapins kept in many Singapore homes. Turtles need a dry, fully out-of-water spot to bask and dry their shells, and the sloped ramp on this piece lets juveniles climb up without scrambling. Position it under your basking lamp at one end of the tank so the animal can thermoregulate, moving between the warm dry surface and the cooler water below.

The resin construction is heavy enough to stay put under an adult terrapin and will not soften in our warm, humid conditions. Because turtle tanks are messy, expect the platform to need a wipe-down during water changes; algae and waste film build quickly here. Keep the basking surface above the waterline as your turtle grows, and check the ramp angle stays gentle enough for older, heavier animals to haul out easily.
