Shiruba XB312 canister filter for tanks up to 4ft
The XB312 is the largest of the XB line, suited to tanks below roughly 5 feet and built around a three-stage system that handles mechanical, chemical and biological filtration in one sealed unit. Its quick-start vacuum priming makes setup and restarts painless on a big tank where reaching behind the cabinet is a chore. For a substantial community or planted display, it delivers the media volume and turnover needed to keep water clear and stable.
In Singapore’s warm 27-29C water, a 4ft tank carries serious bioload, so the XB312’s large media baskets are exactly where biological filtration earns its keep. We suggest planning your media stack carefully, coarse mechanical first then plenty of biomedia, to make the most of the capacity. Rinse biomedia in old tank water rather than our chloraminated tap during maintenance, and keep an eye on flow so heavier-stocked tanks stay well oxygenated.
