The 2L black pack drops neatly into a canister or sump basket and stays stable through repeated cleanings, which matters when you are running a busy community or planted display.

In our consistently warm 27-29C water, bacterial colonies are very active, so well-aerated bio media like this processes the ammonia and nitrite from feeding and fish load efficiently. Rinse it only in tank water during maintenance so you do not wipe out the colony, and place it after your mechanical stage so debris does not choke the pores. With stable flow it gives the quiet, reliable filtration that keeps water parameters steady between water changes.
