ANS Polyester White Wool for Long-Lasting Filtration in Singapore

This 100x50x2cm sheet of white filter wool is a denser, longer-wearing floss for freshwater and marine systems alike. One sheet cuts into many pads, so it is economical for anyone running a sump, overhead trickle filter, pond filter, internal box or canister. We like it as the bulk mechanical layer that traps waste before it breaks down and loads your bioload, keeping water visibly cleaner between maintenance sessions.

Compared with the finer blue wool, this white wool holds its loft longer before compacting, which suits our warm tanks where everything decomposes fast and fine media blinds quickly. Still, plan to rinse it in old tank water and replace it once it stays brown after rinsing; left too long, trapped waste leaches nitrate back into the system. Position it ahead of biological media so it does the dirty work and protects your bacteria beds.
