AquaForest Carbon Fresh 1000ml for Crystal-Clear Water

Activated carbon is the fastest way to clear that faint yellow tint driftwood tannins leave behind, and to strip lingering odours or medication residues after treatment. Carbon Fresh is a steam-activated granulate with high porosity, so it pulls dissolved organics and contaminants out of the water column quickly. We reach for it whenever a customer wants polished, glass-clear water for a display scape or after a course of meds before adding livestock back.

In our warm Singapore tanks, organics break down fast and water can yellow sooner than in temperate setups, so periodic carbon use keeps things looking sharp under bright LEDs. The granules go in a media bag in any canister or hang-on filter chamber with decent flow. Bear in mind carbon is a finite resorbent: it exhausts over weeks, so plan to swap it rather than leaving the same batch in indefinitely, especially in heavily stocked or fed tanks.
