Choosing the right OASE BioStyle cartridge or foam in Singapore
These are the genuine consumables that keep an OASE BioStyle internal filter performing: disposable cartridge packs, the BioBooster bacteria cartridge, an activated-carbon cartridge, a phosphate-binder cartridge, and the orange 30ppi foam set for the 75, 115 and 180 models. Using the matched part matters because the housing relies on the correct foam density and cartridge fit to seal flow rather than letting water bypass the media.
In our warm 27-29C tanks, biology runs fast and foams clog quicker than in temperate climates, so we suggest staggering replacements: never swap every cartridge at once or you strip the colonised bacteria that control ammonia. Rinse reusable foam in old tank water, keep one mature stage in place, and reserve the carbon cartridge for clearing tannins or post-medication, since it also exhausts within weeks here.
