Description
This simple straight design glass pipe has suction slits. For use with a frame-less aquarium tank. Due to its slit form, it has advantage of not to suck in the withered leaves easily. But please make sure to remove the leaves stuck on the suction slits.Pipe diameter (mm)17ØHeight (mm)300Filter flow rate (L/min)10-20Aquarium size (cm)120
ADA Lily Pipe Inflow V-7 17Ø for larger scapes
The 17Ø V-7 inflow steps up for the bigger display tanks, around 120cm, that committed Singapore aquascapers build once they have space and floor loading to spare. Its wider bore handles the higher 10 to 20 L/min flow these tanks demand, drawing water in smoothly through the slotted intake. That even draw reduces the dead spots and detritus pockets that plague larger footprints, helping your canister keep the whole water column turning over.
As with all slotted intakes, leaves and mulm collect on the slits, and in our warm rooms biofilm forms fast, so a wipe during each water change keeps suction strong. We suggest planning the hose run carefully on a big tank to avoid sharp bends that choke flow. The thin glass is fragile, so support the full length when fitting it rather than torquing one end against the rim.
See our complete filtration equipment selection for matching outflows. Our flow rate guide helps size circulation, and our canister filter guide covers pairing the right filter.
