OASE ClearTronic 9W / 11W UV Sterilizer for Singapore aquariums

This compact inline UV unit suits the freshwater and marine tanks most Singapore hobbyists keep, clearing the suspended algae and free-floating bacteria that cause green or cloudy water. It is plumbed into your canister or pump line so treated water passes the lamp continuously; the 9W version fits smaller setups while the 11W covers larger or higher-flow tanks. Choose by tank volume and your existing pump’s flow rate.

UV works on what passes through it, so flow speed is everything: run it too fast and the dose is too weak to clear a bloom. In our warm 27-29C tanks algae rebounds quickly, so leave the unit running and replace the bulb roughly yearly as output fades even when it still glows. Remember UV polishes water-column microbes only; it does not replace your biological filter or treat parasites living on fish or substrate.
