OASE ThermoFit Heater Support for FiltoSmart Filters

The ThermoFit is a bracket that lets you mount an aquarium heater neatly alongside the FiltoSmart internal filter, available in versions for the 100, 200 and 300 models. Rather than leaving a heater dangling on a separate clip, it positions the heating element in the filter’s flow path so warmed water is distributed evenly through the tank, and keeps the equipment tidied into one compact corner unit.

For Singapore keepers, heating is often situational rather than constant: many community tanks sit happily at our ambient 27-29C without one, but a heater becomes useful in cooler air-conditioned rooms or for species that want a precise, stable temperature. Mounting it in the filter’s outflow with the ThermoFit gives more uniform readings and avoids cold pockets. Match the heater wattage to the tank volume, and keep the element fully submerged within the bracket as the manufacturer intends.
