Qanvee K1 Fluidized Bio Filter (LH-300 and 600)

The Qanvee K1 fluidised filter keeps a bed of moving K1 media constantly tumbling in its chamber, which is one of the most efficient ways to grow and hold beneficial bacteria. Because the media is always in motion, the biofilm stays thin and active, and old dead matter sloughs off rather than clogging. We like adding one as a dedicated biological stage alongside an existing canister or hang-on filter when a tank’s bioload has outgrown its current setup.

It shines in heavily stocked or messy systems, such as tanks of large cichlids, goldfish or a busy community, where extra nitrifying capacity stabilises water quality. The LH-300 and 600 sizes let you match the chamber to your tank volume. Run it from an air pump or powerhead per the model’s design, and give it the same weeks-long maturing period any new biological media needs before it carries its full load.
