Qanvee Sponge Filter (YX-300 / YX-600)

The Qanvee sponge filter takes the classic air-driven design and slims it down so it saves space inside the tank while still doing both jobs: the sponge traps particles mechanically and grows the beneficial bacteria that handle biological filtration. The included spherical filtration balls give that bacteria extra surface to colonise. Run from an air pump, it produces a gentle current with no intake that can suck up the tiniest fish, which is exactly why we recommend it for fry and breeding tanks.

It is also a quiet, low-cost workhorse for nano and shrimp setups in HDB flats, where a soft flow and no sharp intake suit delicate livestock. The YX-300 and YX-600 sizes let you match output to tank volume.
