SUNSUN CHJ Internal Filter for Singapore Aquariums (500-1500L/Hr)

The CHJ internal filter is a fully submersible all-in-one that pushes 500 to 1500L/Hr depending on model, so it suits everything from a desktop nano to a mid-sized community tank. Because the whole unit sits inside the tank, there is nothing hanging off the back to clear in a tight HDB or condo corner, and the adjustable flow lets you ease it down for bettas and other slow-water fish or open it up for messier stock.

It runs on both fresh and marine water and can aerate as well as filter, which is convenient in our warm 27-29C tanks where surface agitation keeps oxygen levels healthy. We like internal filters as a quiet, low-maintenance option for renters, since there are no canister hoses to prime and no leak points outside the glass. Rinse the sponge cartridge in old tank water rather than tap so you keep the beneficial bacteria alive between cleans.
