Rubber studs/feet are long lasting and help dampen vibrations and noise
Suction pads on back and side for securing against the aquarium glass. Prevents terrapins from wedging themselves and getting stuck.
Rain shower bar spreads aquarium water evenly throughout the filter media
2 Filter Chambers for the XN-600 holds a large amount of filter media
Multi Directional Nozzle allows for adjustments allowing the best flow rate throughout the tank
Flow rate adjustment dial for adjusting towards a stronger flow, or slower flow.
Pump sucks water and debris up from the bottom. Allowing it to operate in very low water systems and keep the tank bottom clean.
***The Xn600 low level filter requires at least 2cm of water to start, the water inlet is located at the bottom of the tank.

SunSun XN-600 Low-Level Filter for Turtle and Terrapin Tanks in Singapore
The XN-600 is designed for the shallow water you run in a turtle or terrapin setup, where a standard filter intake would sit above the surface and stop working. Its low-level design draws from minimal depth, the sealed pump compartment is potted in black silicone for waterproofing and quiet running, and suction pads hold it flat against the glass so a terrapin cannot wedge itself behind and get stuck. The rain-bar return spreads water evenly across the media for better contact.
Turtles produce a heavy waste load, so the two generous media chambers give you room for mechanical and biological media to keep up, and the adjustable flow dial and multi-directional nozzle let you tune the current so it cleans without buffeting a basking terrapin. In our warm climate, stay on top of mechanical cleaning, rinse media in tank water, and pair the filter with frequent partial changes using dechlorinated water.
