SunSun YQP-300 / 500 / 1000FS Internal Filter with Rainbar in Singapore

The YQP-FS series is a genuine all-rounder, bundling filtration, oxygenation, wave generation and water pumping into a single internal unit, which is exactly the kind of space-saving gear that suits a compact HDB or condo tank. The casing and wetted parts are made from acid- and corrosion-resistant materials, so it copes equally well in soft acidic blackwater scapes and in saltwater. An adjustable flow rate and built-in sponge round it out for small and mid-size tanks.

The rainbar return is the feature we like most for local conditions: it spreads water across the surface, rippling it for oxygen exchange, which matters in our 27-29C tanks where warm water holds less dissolved oxygen on humid afternoons. Run the venturi air intake if you want extra aeration overnight. Keep it primed below the waterline, rinse the sponge in tank water, and dial the flow down for shrimp, fry or quieter community fish.
