HIKARI Fancy Guppy for guppies and livebearers in SG
Guppies, endlers, platies and other livebearers are everywhere in the Singapore hobby because they breed readily and tolerate our warm tap water once it is conditioned. This semi-floating micro-granule is sized for their small upturned mouths, so they can take it at the surface where they naturally feed without you crushing flakes by hand. We find it a tidy staple for community nano tanks on an HDB shelf where you want one jar to cover a mixed livebearer group.
At our ambient 27-29C livebearers are constantly active and the females are usually carrying, so a protein-forward diet supports that steady breeding cycle. Feed small amounts a couple of times a day rather than one big serving; the granules stay intact in water but uneaten food still fouls a small tank fast. If you are raising fry, a finer first food gets them started before they can manage these granules.
For a breeding-focused layout see our guppy breeding tank guide, and our fish food types explainer helps you vary the diet. More options sit in our floating pellet range.
