Why is it important to feed the fish species-appropriate?
Like humans, animals can survive on little food. Both humans and fish are very capable of suffering (unfortunate certainty).

But we aquarium friends have the well-being of our animals as our goal and not only want perfectly formed colors and healthy fish, but also offspring, so that fewer animals are taken from nature. The wild taking does not (proven) pose a threat to the fish species, but of course it is nicer when the number of species caught increases
Probiotic or prebiotic – which is better?
Probiotic foods such as Some yoghurts, for example, contain live bacterial cultures that are said to promote health, but only when consumed in large quantities. Such foods, including probiotic fish food, can easily spoil and then do the opposite. Incidentally, the positive effect on health is quite controversial.

JBL ProNovo FanTail Grano for Goldfish Keepers in Singapore

JBL ProNovo FanTail Grano is a sinking granulated staple developed with Asian breeders for fancy goldfish, available in size S for fish around 3 to 10cm and size M for 8 to 20cm. Shrimp content and natural astaxanthin support the rich colour fancy goldfish are bred for. Crucially, the granules sink: fancy varieties like fantails and orandas have rounded bodies and can gulp air from floating food, which contributes to swim-bladder trouble.

Goldfish are heavy eaters and heavy waste producers, so in a warm Singapore tank a strong filter and regular water changes matter as much as the food itself. Feed a measured amount two or three times a day, only what is cleared within a couple of minutes, and pre-soak granules briefly if your fish are prone to bloating. Choose the grain size to match your fish so every bite goes down easily.
