We find Japanese foods like this tend to be clean and consistent, which helps keep water quality stable between changes.

In our warm 27 to 29C tanks, fish metabolise quickly and appetites run high, so portion control matters more than most people expect. We advise feeding only what the fish finish within a minute or two, once or twice a day, and skipping the occasional day to keep the bioload manageable.
