Feeding UP Aqua Flower Horn Food in a Local Tank
Flower horns are a showpiece fish in Singapore, prized for the kok and bold colour, and this pellet is built around their feeding needs with colour-enhancing ingredients and a balanced protein base. The roughly 2mm sinking pellet suits grown-out specimens and is small enough that the fish can take several in one go without choking, while the palatability keeps even fussy individuals eating consistently, which is half the battle with a temperamental flower horn.
We tell keepers to feed a few times a day in small portions the fish finishes within minutes rather than one large dump, since overfeeding fouls the water fast in a warm tank and a big monster fish already produces a heavy bioload. These fish are kept at our ambient 27-29C with no heater needed in most local rooms, so a strong filter and regular water changes matter far more than worrying about temperature.
