FROK Submersible LED White (FK 40-180cm) for SG Aquariums
This white-output FROK submersible runs from a compact 40cm bar up to a 180cm unit, so it scales from a nano shelf tank to the long six-foot display tanks some Singapore keepers build into feature walls. White light is the all-rounder of the range: it gives a clean, true-to-life view of community fish, lifts general brightness in a deep tank, and serves as a supplementary underwater source where a top fixture alone leaves shadows behind tall hardscape.
Because it mounts fully submerged, it tucks behind rockwork or driftwood and lights the scape from within, which is handy on the taller tanks favoured here where surface light struggles to reach the substrate. The thick glass casing and heavy rubber seals are built to live underwater long-term, and the in-built heat sinks help the LEDs cope with our warm 27-29C ambient water. Match the bar length to your tank footprint rather than over-lighting a small setup.
White light at the right intensity can also nudge algae if run too long, so keep a sensible schedule. Our lighting duration guide and best LED light for planted aquariums help you choose, and the wider lighting range covers tank-top alternatives.
