NOMOYPET ND-06 Day / Heat Bulb for Reptiles
A day-and-heat bulb like the ND-06 provides the warmth and daytime light reptiles rely on to drive their behaviour and metabolism. Reptiles are ectotherms, so they need a defined warm basking zone to digest food and stay active, and this frosted bulb supplies that heat while keeping glare down over the basking spot. Available in 40w and 60w, you can match output to enclosure size and the basking temperature your species needs.
Wattage choice and placement are everything. In Singapore’s already-warm rooms a smaller bulb often suffices, and you should always create a temperature gradient so your animal can move to a cooler zone. Fit the bulb in a proper ceramic-rated lamp to avoid overheating or fire, and use a thermometer at the basking surface rather than guessing. Pair it with appropriate UVB, since heat and visible light alone do not meet a reptile’s full needs.
