ODY HI-LUMEN 60 “SKYBLUE” Over SG Aquariums

The “SKYBLUE” version of this 60cm bar mixes white with actinic-leaning blue, giving water a crisp, cool look that many hobbyists prefer for fish-focused community tanks, blackwater scapes, or lightly planted setups. We notice it flatters silver, blue and iridescent fish under evening viewing, which suits the way most Singapore homes run their tanks as a living-room feature after work hours.

The cooler blue-heavy mix is less about maximising plant growth and more about presentation, so if your priority is dense carpets or red stems you may want a planter-tuned fixture instead. For fish-only or hardscape tanks it works nicely, and in our warm 27-29C water we still recommend a timer so the light runs a consistent block rather than being left on all day, which keeps algae on the glass under control.
