Odyssea HI-LUMEN 120 “RED” RGBW for SG Planted Display Tanks

The “RED” version of the 4-foot HI-LUMEN uses a large array of RGBW LEDs, blending red, green, blue and white diodes. That mix lets you bring out the deep colours in red and variegated plants while still keeping greens looking rich, which is exactly what hobbyists building a display planted scape want. Over a 120cm tank in an HDB or condo living room, it makes a colour-driven aquascape genuinely stand out.

RGBW spectrum helps, but it will not single-handedly turn plants crimson. In Singapore’s soft, warm tap water you still need solid intensity, iron and overall nutrients, and usually CO2, to push the deepest reds. We tell customers to treat the light as one pillar of a balanced system and to keep the photoperiod steady on a timer rather than chasing colour by simply leaving it on longer.
