Odyssea QUAD 150/170 Four-Tube T5HO for 5-Foot SG Tanks

This QUAD steps up to four 80W T5HO tubes plus bluemoon LEDs over a 5-foot tank, delivering serious intensity for deep planted display tanks and demanding light-loving setups. Individual power cords let you control each function separately, so you can build a graduated photoperiod, ramping from a couple of tubes to full output for the main viewing window, then dropping to bluemoon LEDs in the evening.

With this much wattage, heat and power are real considerations in Singapore. Four 80W tubes throw off warmth that can nudge water temperature up in our already warm 27-29C climate, which matters for sensitive species, and the electricity draw over a full photoperiod is significant. Staging the tube banks on timers keeps both temperature and running cost under control without sacrificing the display.
