Mounting Week Aqua lights with the L-DB16 hang bar and L16 II stand

This pairing covers two mounting routes for Week Aqua fixtures: the L-DB16 hang bar for suspending a light above the tank, and the L16 II Frost stand in black or silver for a clean standing mount on the rim. We recommend a hang or stand setup for open-top, rimless tanks, which are increasingly popular in Singapore aquascaping, because lifting the fixture off the glass improves airflow and lets you fine-tune height and spread over the layout.

Suspending the light a little higher also softens the spotlight effect and gives a more even spread across a planted scene, while making maintenance easier since you can swing or lift the fixture clear when you trim or do water changes. Do note the hanging kit and wires are not included here, so factor those in. In humid SG rooms we also like that raising the fixture keeps it further from splash and condensation, which is kinder to the electronics over time.
