Choosing the Week Aqua L-series Pro for your planted tank
The L-series Pro is Week Aqua’s RGB-UV full-spectrum planted-tank LED in a slimmer fixture body than the Pro D, offered in 60, 90 and 120cm lengths. We recommend it for freshwater aquascapers who want strong colour rendition and reliable plant growth from a tidy, low-profile housing that sits well on a rimless tank. The full spectrum lifts the reds and blues in fish and plants alike, giving a layout that genuine pops under evening viewing.
App control over Bluetooth brings stepless dimming, sunrise and sunset transitions and a stack of preset and custom modes, so you can tailor intensity to your plants instead of running one fixed setting. In our warm SG tanks we always advise starting conservative on both brightness and photoperiod, then nudging upward only if plants ask for it, because excess light is the quickest route to an algae battle. Pair sensible timing with consistent dosing and your scape stays clean and balanced.
See our wider aquarium lighting range, and to set it up well read our guides to the best planted-tank LED lights and how light spectrum affects your tank.
