Week Aqua M DS Hanging Kit for suspended light bars

This braided steel wire hanging kit suspends Week Aqua M, L and V series light bars above your aquarium, with 85cm of wire to set your preferred height. We always remind customers to seat and tighten the bolts properly before letting a fixture hang, since a suspended light bar carries real weight and you want it locked securely over an open-top scape.

Suspending a light instead of mounting it on the rim is a favourite move among Singapore aquascapers because it opens up rimless, open-top layouts and makes water changes and trimming far easier in a compact HDB or condo where reaching into the tank matters. Hanging the fixture also lets you fine-tune the distance to the water surface, which is how you balance enough intensity for carpeting plants against the algae pressure that comes with too much light.
